Types Of Hyper Pigmentation:

A. Melasma: This Type Of Hyper Pigmentation Is Caused By Hormonal Fluctuation And Is A Normal Occurrence During Pregnancy (CHOLASMA). It Can Also Occur As A Result Of Thyroid Dysfunction And As A Side Effect Of Birth Control Pills.

 B. Lentigines: These Are Also Known As Liver Spots Or Age Spots. They Are Generally Caused By Exposure To UV Rays. 

C. Post Inflammatory Hyper Pigmentation (PIH): This Is Caused By Skin Injury Such As Burns, Acne, Psoriasis Or Some Skin Care Treatments. It Usually Goes Away As The Skin Regenerates And Heals.
